Technical Staff
I received my B.S. in biology with a concentration in aquaculture from Salem State University in the Spring of 2014. I subsequently relocated to San Francisco in August 2014 and secured a position at the UCSF CVRI as a zebrafish technician. Through my experience at the CVRI, I was introduced to Dr. Kokel and his research team. I began managing the laboratories newly established zebrafish facility while expressing and maintaining an interest in molecular biology and genetics. After nearly a year with the lab I have been granted the exciting opportunity to explore many different facets of molecular biology and genetics; recently, I have taken over the IDG CRISPR/Cas9 project. I look forward to furthering my education and experience in molecular research.
